এক সময় এই নদীটি অনেক বড় একটি নদী ছিল। বর্তমানে এই নদীটি বিলিন হয়ে আসছে। এখ শুকনো মৌষমে নদীর ধারে  ভিবিন্ন ফসলের চাষ হয়।

From Jamalpur to Sharishbari Paka road, it is situated at about 2km away from Madarganj paka road to the west from the Bhatara Bazar. At one time this river was a very large river. After getting the bridge over the river, the river is now getting billinized. Now there are different crops grown in the dry season of the river. Sweet potato cultivation in the crop shows
